A Secret Skate Spot in the Tower
Rumor has it there's something rad tucked away behind the Tower.
Step up to a board rack in the Skatepark, strap in, and prepare to kickflip into hyperdrive: you'll go whole hog as a Trufflet on wheels, ready to grind rails, launch off ramps, and chain together gnarly combos. Your skater will be a totally random Trufflet pulled straight from your Ranch (even retired Trufflets are back to shred!).
Ready to paint the town? Any skater in the park can trigger an intense Red vs. Blue turf war by popping open a can of paint. Grab a matching Red or Blue board next to the cans and tear up the park! Every sick trick tags your team's color for ultimate bragging rights. But watch your back… the rival crew can hijack your turf by pulling off even wilder, higher-scoring tricks. After three minutes, whichever crew covered the most turf takes home the crown.
Wanna customize your ride? Slap a radical sticker on your board to flaunt your vibe, or tag key spots all over the park to mark your domain.
“The skate park was a gnarly experiment that stretched over two different hack-a-thons we did for the studio. We had a ton of fun playing around with it and stretching some capabilities of Palia and thought it would be a very fun (and very unserious) thing to share with Palians. That said, it is still an experiment at its core and that will show as you play; there are rough edges, and there are bugs. Because this was a side project, we felt it best to dedicate our attention to other core additions to Palia while letting you all have some fun with the feature. We currently don’t have any plans to expand this (or fix it) beyond what it is unless players are really loving it. So go shred it up and have some fun with your fellow Palians!” - S6 Forseti
Welcome the Corgi to the Ranch
It has short legs, but a big heart: the Corgi has padded onto the Ranch! You can scoop-up your precious ball of fluff as a Rare Drop from Hunting Chapaa, Muujin, and Jaakcat tails.
